MLdonkey can send email notifications of events. %%% Currently, the only notifications sent are completed downloads.

The parameters are:

  • mail: The email address you want to receive MLdonkey notifications. And empty string means no notifications (default)
  • add_mail_brackets: should mldonkey add < > around the mail address above
  • smtp_server: The name of the server to send the notifications to (default: 127.0.0.1)
  • smtp_port: The port to send notifications to (default: 25)
  • filename_in_subject: self explanatory

The default smtp_* settings are ok if you run a SMTP server locally, otherwise you'll have to modify smtp_server to point to your SMTP server.
