Actually, if I read the draft correctly, link should have been [irc://irc.freenode.net:6667/%23mldonkey]... However, no IRC client seems to have followed that draft, it's dead...

The p2p client?
I don't think mldonkey is or should try to be "the" p2p client. It's a niche product, and there is nothing wrong with that. What's the use in pretending it's something else?
