Working strong and well since a day! A very robust release!
No noticable problems!

NOTE;The bw_toggle needs to be called by writing command there is a little issue about the webinterface button. Quite a marginal issue. Very Happy

And the sorting is wrong in some tables of the WebUI (eg search results sorted by size) Sad

I hope to gather some of those glitches and will eventually release a 0.18.0 next weekend.

But please test this version.

If you have problems with the WebUI, state the browser you are using within your bugreport.

I'm trying changin' settings too to verify their functionality.
I'll advice another known user to report problems to me.

Hi,

Some weeks ago, I've been forced to abandon mldonkey (and mulus) because it saturates my WXP network interface (I cannot get e-mail, nor browse the net...) I can access inet from another computer, so the router is working ok. Mldonkey 2.6.7 has same effect, but when you say:

hope to found the bug regarding too many sources in interfaces

Are you talking about this problem ?

No, this is another problem.

But did you try Mulus? It uses much less connections than MLdonkey. If there are still too many, you may lower max_connections_per_second, max_opened_connections, max_indirect_connections, max_sources and/or max_concurrent_downloads.

I have good download rates with

max_connections_per_second = 5
max_opened_connections = 150
max_indirect_connections =75
max_sources = 10000
max_sources_per_file = 2000

But I'm no powerleecher and it often takes up to 2 hours before I get download-rates beyond 20 kbps. Mulus is running at most 10-12 hours per day and my stats are:

Code:

Starting with SP2, XP cannot keep more than 10 connections "half-open" at any time.

That's supposed to reduce the effect of virus-infected Windows boxen on the Internet.

This is also a problem with some programs, like P2P clients (Microsoft doesn't care, it doesn't sell P2P products yet).

Explanation, patcher : http://lvllord.de/?lang=en&url=tools

Yes, I've tried with 50, 250 and 500(now), but nothing seems to help. What kills me is that emule and lphant work ok (I know they are win32 natives, but...)

By the way, this (mulus 0.17.4 rebel2k binary) is running fine by now, but seems I begin to have some time-outs with DNS resolving.

and... Is my problem reported by other people?

I'm sure it did not work with the last release I tried, so something has changed now.

So is working OK. Now I need some more download power Wink . Go to ask to the "problems with mulus" forum.

Thank you.

I have no understood if you have sucesfully used Mulus 17.4 or last 2.6.7 release.

Your download power greatly depends on the number o sources and number of files you are downlaoding. Mldonkey has a fairly good download "power", differences between mldonkey and my father's emule are quite marginal.
Cheers

I mean BEFORE turn to emule. I think it was 2.6.4 and for mulus 0.17.3 (or .2?)

2.6.7 is not working for me. It is killing my computer's net interface.

Now I'm downloading my real downloads (not too much sources) and testing downloads, with a lot of sources (you know, just search for "sex avi" or so, isos from some linux distributions...) and I'm getting lower downloads rates than using emule (1.4:1). My stats:

Knocker,

There's a lite version of secure identification by owe, see
[url]obsolete_url[/url]

I'd like to know if you can add secure user identification in the next release.

I'm not sure why using a C program anyway. There is an OCaml library "cryptokit" is it broken?

@Knocker, you're right.

Mldonkey 2.6.x series used CryptoPP lib for the reason that the process of sui not been understanded. Now, since owe have figured out the processing of sui, yes, CryptoKit lib can be utilized. Please do it.
