|
|
I would like to be able to download a .torrent file and then using the web interface select that downloaded file and mlnet do its thing.
At the moment I have to copy the .torrent file to my server, and manually issue a dllink command. While that in itself may not sound like much, you do need to know the full path to the .torrent file and besides it would be neater to have it all done using the web interface.
There are two ways I thought it could happen:
1) after selecting the file, the web client would stream the file over to the server where mlnet would write it, and then automagically execute the dllink command transparently, or
2) after selecting the file the client would stream the file to mlnet where it would parse and execute the torrent in memory.
I suggest this having no real understanding on how it all really works

| I have understood you like to dothis via webinterface but I'm pretty sure Sancho's GUI implements this feature yet. |

MLDonkeys http server lacks POST support, so transfering a torrent via
http needs a lot of new code.

Copy it to ./torrents/incoming, it will be started automatically. This folder
is scanned each BT-import_new_torrents_interval seconds, default 60. _________________ Link overview and precompiled cores here: http://mldonkey.sourceforge.net/DownloadLinks |

Ok - I didn't know about the ./torrents/incoming solution, I'll set that up.
Thanks |
