Happy New Year!!

Plus

Happy Downloads to you all!!

Obsolete:
Code:

P.s: As humble user I like to thank community and developers, but I like to start this year by donating little Money/Resources to this project.
Unfortunately I have noted that there is no Donation/Paypal link on the mldonkey page.(I have reminds of a similar thing time ago towards Bbavard paypal account..and he is not the main developer anymore).
In order to contribuite directly to current main developers I ask you suggestion about best way to send Money/Hardware to the project.

I have find out where to look for:

http://sourceforge.net/users/spiralvoice/

@Spiral you have to make a link there from main page, I have miss this way, I'm a bit absent-minded.
thx Wink

Yes, I am accepting donations for my _own_ work on MLdonkey.

Because I did not develop MLDonkey myself (b8_bavard and others did) nor
did I setup the forum/wiki pages on Sourceforge (ovidr did) I feel it unappropiate
to post a link for donations to me on the main page of this project.

Lots of other people provide patches and do bug hunting, they also deserve
attention. Have a look at the Changelog to get an idea who I mean Wink

There is currently no way to donate money to the MLDonkey _project_ itself.
The people of the MLDonkey dev team are loosely bound, they decide
invidually when and what to contribute. Because of this structure it would
be difficult to decide what to do with 10 bugs donated by someone Wink

Also the MLDonkey project does not need any money because of free
hosting on Savannah and Sourceforge. Some private forums, like the
German one, are an exception but its up to their maintainers to call for
donations if they would like to have them.

So, if someone decides to spend some money it has to go to individual people.

I do not expect any money for my work on MLDonkey because I use
it myself, so some selfishness is also part of my commitment Wink

But some months ago I thought, if someone wants to donate money to me
there should be a way of doing it, at the end I would not refuse the money Wink
Thats the reason I silently setup the donation function on Sourceforge,
also 5% of each donation goes to the KDE project. I use KDE as my main work
environment on Linux, they deserve the money for their great work.

I do not object if other people, listed as MLDonkey project admins, are
setting up their own donation function. At the end, as I have said, donations
are only possible to individuals and should be meant as appreciation for
work done in the past.

Thats the way I am seeing donations, I do not derive an obligation for
future work on MLDonkey when I receive donations, but it would make
them more likely Wink
