Hello I have a little home server under Debian Lenny. I was installed mldonkey by debian repositories, I think 2.9.5

Y lost the admin password...existe any method to reset the admin password? or any file where I can find it and see it?
Thanks!!

I solved it. I was run:

#cp -p /var/lib/mldonkey/downloads.ini ~
#aptitude remove mldonkey-server
#rm -R /var/lib/mldonkey
#aptitude install mldonkey-server

Very Happy

open ~/.mldonkey/users.ini with any text editor
find "user_name" parameter which is equal to your username
below there is "user_pass" parameter with some kind of hashed password, just remove whole "user_pass" line, restart MLDonkey and try to login with a blank password

Maybe should create a page on a wiki? In the FAQ? I will translate, in the languages available to me.
