Happy to see you have solved... and happy to see you are able to compile the cores on a VM.
forcing UTF8 may be a good idea.
Perhaps I'll add this on my future cores....
I'm happy to see more and more people self compiling their own core, I feel more relaxed about being late with the cores. _________________ ARM,ARMEL,MIPS,MIPSEL,POWERPC mldonkey cores: http://fabtar.ygrek.org.ua/ |

have some problem
mlnet.log
-----------------
[bS] exec can_read : unexpected exn Invalid_argument("String.sub")
[bS] exec can_read : unexpected exn read failed: Connection reset by peer
[bS] exec can_read : unexpected exn read failed: Connection refused
[bS] exec can_read : unexpected exn Pervasives.Exit.......(repeat)

This is "normal". Let me explain - all the exceptions that are now in the logs were present in previous version too, but were simply discarded. Now they are printed to logs which will probably help developers to better identify problems if any. So the actual behaviour is not worse than in previous versions. Network errors (connection reset, connection refused) are absolutely normal and should be ignored (they will be suppressed in 3.0.6). Other errors may be the symptoms of some bugs lurking around and will need further investigation. _________________ Download | Report bugs | git mirror |

This means your setup is incomplete.
MLdonkey is capable of using UTF-8 filenames in a sane environment. _________________ Link overview and precompiled cores here: http://mldonkey.sourceforge.net/DownloadLinks |

Need to "force" MLDonkey to use UTF during compilation. The binaries core with UTF for NAS-01G and other compatible NAS can be found here. |

I'm back to the topic, I suppose that the rapidshare hosting sucks, I'll check it tomorrow and I'll compile new cores.
I have two free days.. after a lot of time. _________________ ARM,ARMEL,MIPS,MIPSEL,POWERPC mldonkey cores: http://fabtar.ygrek.org.ua/ |

Updated! 3.1.0CVS is out
download cores from:
http://fabtar.comlu.com/
Let me know if archives and cores works well.
The cores are compiled as usual but I have added a "force always UTF8 patch" I need feeback aout this change.
Currently only arm/armle bytecode cores are pending, I hope to release this night. _________________ ARM,ARMEL,MIPS,MIPSEL,POWERPC mldonkey cores: http://fabtar.ygrek.org.ua/ |
