--EDIT--
Ok, it appears KAD support is practically dead. Modifying question
Hi!
mlnet listens to ports as defined by me, but in addition, it also listens to ports 15242 and 7335; so, what are these for? |

Hi, check used ports on help -> sysinfo
Mldonkey 3.1.3 uses only kad 1 that isn't compatible with kad 2 used by eMule 0.50a |

No problem with sources of:
- all versions of aMule
- all versions of eMule < 0.50a |

amule has a lot of issues. It hangs too much for starters.
BTW I found edonkey networks to be pretty much useless and slow. It's not a good idea to use (and support) a protocol which's primarily implemented as a Windows app, that too in .NET; and then they didn't even try and migrate it to Linux using mono. |
