I am having an issue with slow transfer speeds over LAN. At first it was going a max of 10KB/s, i then found the settings in download.ini to remove the speed limit and set it to unlimited (why would they put this in by default!?!?).
My setup:
DC++ Server is installed on "WindowsPC"
DC++ Client installed on "WindowsPC"
DC++ Client on "WindowsPC" is running in Active mode
MLDonkey running in a jail on my NAS4Free box
Gbit network
SMB transfers ~100MB/s
I am getting a max speed of 10MB/s. It almost seems like it's being limited again.
An ifconfig shows that the adapter is 1000BaseT so it won't be limited there.
Has anyone had similar issues? |

Thanks for your reply!
It wasn't maxing out other components on the NAS as I could transfer at 90MB/s+ using an SMB share.
I still haven't found a fix for this perhaps MLDonkey just doesn't support higher speeds? |
