Another solution, simpler than chroot, is to put my library in a directory DIFFERENT form /usr/libs !
You have to execute mlnet using a script which adds the new library path to the enviroment.
This should permit to mlnet (only) to use my libs first than system's ones.

the first post of this thread includes a script's example.
You have to create the script using a text editor and let's remind to set the right execution permissions.

I ave create over repertory for library : /volume1/mldonkeylib and copy your library .
/volume1/mldonkey296 is the path of mldonkey and /root/.mldonkey the working directory

Thanks spiralvoice for pointing this.This may reduce the mantainance's effort caused by different virtual OS-hardwares.
I have also to evaluate the effective usability with ocaml and the compatibility of the obtained cores.
These are topics I have always been interested in and enjoyed,

Hi, I'm still here.. I have looked at changelog's updates but I have been waiting for a release to come.
Cause the official release is imminent I'll wait for 3.02 to come.
I think about releasing my cores on 23th April.

P.s: spiralvoice do you need a CVS release first in order to check for problems?

UPDATE 3.0.2 is out

First, I apologize for the huge delay.
Real life sucks.

I have had a major disk failure recently, hopefully all the data has been backed up but the qemu's VMs have not been included (only few scripts).
I have had to rebuild the compilation environments, luckily things have evolved recently for qemu and I have used the new aurelien's jarno debian's images as start point.

In order to provide an immediate quick update I have decided to release my OLD-STYLE release archives.
I am going to change my compilation scripts in few weeks adding useful things, and being user-friendly.
My script's TODO list:

being user friendly
add locales and magic data into the old-style archives
compile an official-release


WARNING:
These cores have been compiled into a fresh new enviroment, they might work but feedback is mandatory
Please check and pay attention!!!

For MIPSEL's guys, I have changed a bit the configure, all cores have been compiled with SUI enabled, please check if SUI works fine, and in case disable SUI from webinterface or configuration files.
IF you don't know what SUI is, let's go into webinterface ed2k's options and disable SUI by yourself!
