Hi, I installed Mldonkey 2.8.1 by using apt-get on Kuro-Box, Debian etch 2.6.25. I can search files and download them, but it's very slow. Torrents files are never completed. It seems that ports are not opened properly.

These are the results of potinfo, porttest, and id in the Sancho's console. Porttest seems not to be recognaized.

Quote:
Eval command: portinfo

--Portinfo--
Network| Port|Type
-------+------+-------------------
Core | 4080|http_port
Core | 4000|telnet_port
Core | 4001|gui_port
Donkey | 11665|client_port TCP
Donkey | 11669|client_port UDP

----------------------------------
Eval command: porttest

No such command porttest

----------------------------------
Eval command: id

For 38.107.164.21:4661 (muellbomber) ---> 11822440 (LowID)
For 38.107.164.6:4661 (Mules Donkeys and Blue Monkeys) ---> 8506115 (LowID)
For 129.47.150.6:4661 (DonkeyServer No1) ---> 770071 (LowID)
For 129.47.137.2:4500 (Billion Euro) ---> 13757859 (LowID)

And I keep getting the same massages.

This is the result of the script of this page.

I also tried nmap.

I've used iptable's script introduced in this page.

And this is the result's of iptalbes -L

Quote:
# iptables -L

I have set to forward ports on my router like this in the Virtual Server's section.
Quote:
eDonkey2000,Overnet,Mldonkey (the box's ipaddress) Both 4661-4672 / 4661-4672 always
KAD,KAD1 (the box's ipaddress) Both 4619 / 4629 always
Gnutella (the box's ipaddress) Both 6346-6347 / 6346-6347 always
FastTrack (the box's ipaddress) TCP 1214 / 1214 always
OpenNapster (the box's ipaddress) TCP 6699 / 6699 always
DirectConnect (the box's ipaddress) Both 1412 / 1412 always
Soulseek (the box's ipaddress) TCP 2234 / 2234 always
mldonkey (the box's ipaddress) Both 11665-11669 / 11665-11669 always

When I type "telnet (the box's ipaddress) 11665", from WAN side network using windows pc's command prompt, it shows a blank window, meaning the port is reachable. But when I try the other ports such as 4619, 1214. 2234 and so on, it says "Could not open connection to the host, on port blah blah: Connect failed"

I now suspect that I had to install with this method, not using apt-get. http://mldonkey.sourceforge.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4834

If anybody acknowleges to this kind of problem, your responses would be greatly appreciated.
