Hello,
I am using mldonkey as remotely controlled bittorrent and dc++ client. I found it very reliable and useful. But I have read all the config files and found nothing about charset settings. You know, hubs in Russia use that fu#$%ing charset windows-1251. So how can I change the charset of dc++ whole plugin/hub/or anything else? I heard about patches but I havent found them.
OS: Archlinux
Also I have other questions
Q2: How to chat in dc++ hub chat via telnet interface?
Q3: How to log hub chat?
Q4: Why "dcusers all" command do not work&? (I am tired of entering hub ip after "dcusers")
Q5: Can I give cookies (like wget --load-cookies) to dllink?

It is interesting. When I launch sancho - codepage became normal even in telnet interface  . I can see russian letters normally, but I cant send russian text to dc chat  (and also search for russian names of files) |

This problem specifically plugin's DC + +  .

Thank you for the article, but I think that not being able to change charset in dc plugin is a great inconvinience...
Also I have other question: How to chat in dc hub chat from telnet interface? |

Hm... I hinted at the fact that it may be impossible due to not finish the plugin.

May be it's impossible ... Plugin given "as is"...

patch #7180 works for me.

See dcsendmsg and dcmsglog.

You mean storing chat log to file? Currently no such possibility. Enter a feature request on bugtracker.

It works in html interface but in telnet its output gets truncated for large lists. Definitely some bug is lurking around.

Have a look at option cookies in downloads.ini. |
