why not use files.xml immediately instead of shared_files_dc.ini

I mean it's need for сompatibility with common code of mldonkey.

We should thank God (or, given the developer) that we do have a plugin for mldonkey.

DC plug-in works. Ie can already be having a working construction to improve it.

Now MLdonkey, actively growing, than two years ago when I first met him. And with an active community, I have every reason to believe that over time it will be even better.

I'm agree, conversion of FlyLink/StrongDC files.xml to MlDonkey ini isn't a problem.
I suppose, I need 3.0.5 for mipsel... Now looking for tools to build mipsel code on PC.

However, mlnet doesn't starts with huge share:
- 247 files 21.0Gb total - works fine;
- 415 files 23.7Gb total - works fine;
- 72447 files 534Gb total (whole share) - hangs, message "core started" doesn't appears.
I'm afraid, the reason is lack of resources on NMT? Any suggestion?
I can provide diagnostics if it necessary (traces etc.)

Yes, please, provide more info - sysinfo, any errors in the log? Does it consume CPU when hanging? strace and gdb output would be very useful (see Bugs page).

I've tried to increase share size and look at the time between
2010/10/17 17:26:23 [cO] Logging in /share/tools/MlDonkey 3.0.5 ...
and the next message:
2010/10/17 17:29:54 [dMain] Core started

Results:
- 3000 files 20Gb 30sec
- 10000 files 63Gb 3 min 30sec
- 20000 files 123Gb 25 min

Official MlDonkey 3.0.3 built with shared libraries

You can compile static cores yourself: "make static" or "make release.mlnet.static"
