Hi,

I remarked on the changelog that the desktop file was now included in the source package (ported from Arch GNU/Linux), so I thought I would suggest French and Turkish translations for the file:
Code:
Comment[fr]=Logiciel P2P multiple-protocole
Comment[tr]=Birçok protokolü destekleyen P2P programı

Regards.

BTW, if someone tells how MLDonkey is localized I can try to help a little bit. Providing a link for the files and explaining how the translation system works (apparently it's not based on Gettext :/ should be OK but please keep in mind I'm not a developer (I can't even chronologically sort commits on CVS).

Thanks fro your contribution. The translation system is a bit awkward to use. First you launch mldonkey with the locale you want to translate to. During startup mldonkey creates the file $MLDONKEY_DIR/mlnet_strings.$LOCALE which contains some translated strings and some not yet translated. Then you copy that file somewhere and translate the strings with the text editor, periodically copying the updated version into original location and restarting mldonkey to see the result. When you are finished - attach the file to bug tracker or this forum or send via email to ygrek at autistici dot org.

Thank you for your help. I see mlnet_strings.en_US.utf8 and mlnet_strings.en_US.UTF-8 in that directory. What's the difference between the two?
